The Scamper base series was one of the hardest for me to draw; it was really difficult to keep the proportions correct between the different poses (which is why there are only three). However, it was also one of the most fun to create because each pose in the series is so different from the next.

im a furry artist can I make the legs digigrade?.. Or would you mind making some bases with digigrade legs? Love your art <3

Firstly, I really appreciate that you asked permission instead of feigning ignorance; that's such an admirable quality and I wish more people were like you!

As far as edits go, I'm very strict with my policy because of previous bad experiences. If I make an exception for one or two responsible people who ask permission, then a dozen others will assume I no longer uphold the policy and proceed to do whatever they want with my work. So that's why I'm such a stickler.

My general feeling on base edits is that I'm okay with pixels being added to the original structure but I don't allow pixels to be subtracted from the original structure. For example, if someone wants to add a mermaid tail, as long as the tail covers up or follows the contour of the existing legs, it's fine; but if the artist simply deletes the legs to add a tail, I get miffed.

I don't have any base-making plans in the near future but I will definitely keep the idea of digitigrade legs in mind if I get into a pixeling mood.
